I lived in St Petersburg for several years working as a guide and teacher before going on to live in several ex Soviet countries, including Georgia and Ukraine.

Although based in Sussex, I continue to spend time in the ex Soviet Union travelling, teaching and writing. I am involved in a number of community projects and currently run an annual theatre workshop in Tzarskoe Selo, Russia.

My first book 'One Steppe Beyond' is available now!

I remain intrigued by all things Russian (and beyond) ....
